Who's playing?
+ SEVEN ORCHIDS - thrashy-core loveliness that pulls the wallflowers up by their roots and makes them move.
+ PAIN LINK - the definitive CincyMetal band. These guys set the standards as musicians and showmen.
+ ESTUARY - a brutal yet melodic death/thrash band from right here in the Queen City
+ CROATAN - this power punk/metal duo of Mark and Jenny have taken Croatan around the country numerous times for well over a decade. They can be heard, literally, all over the world.
+ DARK SOUL - Finely tuned Cincy Death with a lot of classic metal elements.
+ A PRESENT DAY NIGHTMARE - A hardcore metal force to be reckoned with. One of the tightest bands in the Tri-State.

These bands will be getting a chance to showcase their music and live show in front of ARTEMIS RECORDS Marketing Consultant, Steve Seabury. Steve also runs BARLEY & HOPS MANAGEMENT (http://www.illusionwebs.com/sites/hopsmgt/HOPS.htm#), which is the management team for Crisis, Trouble, Dirty Rig, and Goat Horn, and will checking out the bands for that as well.

This is not a contest, like Battle for Ozzfest or American Idol. It is simply a chance for six local bands that Steve checked out and liked to showcase their music and live show in front of a record label and management guy.

As always, this show at Sudsy's will be 18+ w/ I.D. Cover will be the standard $5.00 and music will start at 9:00pm.

This show is going to be huge. And don't let the fact that these are metal bands keep ALL supporters of local music from coming out. If we get a good turn out for this, and we will, then scouts from all genres will start poking around... if they aren't already.

Cincy is a hotbed of talent in all manners of musicianship. What's killed it for us in the past, especially in the metal scene, was the attitudes and egos of the bands. But that was then.. this is now. This is our chance to make them notice us. We encourage ALL lovers and supporters of local music to attend this huge event.
